Why Oumma Edge exists
A Singapore-based studio building intentional software for the global Muslim community.
A Muslim life is not lived in two halves. Yet almost every tool we use assumes it is.
Your calendar knows nothing of Fajr. Your habit tracker has no idea what niyyah means. Your journal is stored on a server someone else can read. So the deen gets a separate app, the dunya gets the real one, and the two never speak to each other.
Oumma Edge exists to close that gap. We build software that treats faith and worldly ambition as one life, planned together — and we build it to a standard the ummah has too often been asked to do without. Not a niche version of a good product. A good product, built for us, from the first line of code.
Qasad is where we start. It will not be where we finish.
Built to a standard
Muslim apps are too often forgiven for being clunky because the intention is good. We do not accept that trade. Craft is part of the amanah.
Dignity, not data
Your reflections, intentions and prayers are not an advertising signal. Journal content is end-to-end encrypted — we could not read it if we wanted to.
An ecosystem, in time
Qasad is the first product, not the only one. Everything we build afterwards is meant to fit alongside it, sharing the same principles and the same respect for your time.
Oumma Edge Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore company, founder-led and self-funded. Qasad began as the planner we wanted for our own days, and it is built by people who use it for theirs.

Qasad is in beta on iOS. We're building carefully, not quickly — and we would rather hear what's wrong now than after launch.

Oumma Edge ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Qasad mobile application and website. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our service.
Information We Collect
- Account Information: Email address and password (securely hashed) to create your account.
- Location Data: Used solely to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. This data is processed on-device or anonymously via API and not stored on our servers.
- Encrypted Journal Content: Notes, reflections, and tasks you create. This content is end-to-end encrypted (E2EE) and is never readable by Oumma Edge.
- Usage Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized data to help us improve the app.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure hosted in Singapore. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Journal content is encrypted client-side, meaning only you hold the keys to decrypt and read it.

We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party ad networks. We only share data with infrastructure providers (like Supabase and hosting providers) strictly necessary to operate the service, under their privacy policies.
Your Rights
You have the right to export or permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time within the app settings.
